AsterLuv was founded by Nithya, a visionary who blends creativity with precision. With a background in branding, product development, and storytelling, she set out to create skincare that speaks not only to your skin — but to your soul.

Our Story

Our journey began with a simple but powerful idea: beauty should feel as good as it looks. One winter afternoon, our founder experienced a professional facial where the skincare product applied had an overpowering chemical fragrance that made her uncomfortable — despite its strong reputation. That moment sparked a realization: beauty products should enhance skin health and the overall experience, not overwhelm the senses.

This led to an exploration of gentle, effective botanical ingredients and naturally sourced extracts. Thus, AsterLuv’s first product — the InstaGlow Moisturizer with SPF, enriched with 23 natural extracts — was born. It was designed to address multiple common skin concerns like dryness, dullness, dark spots, and irritation caused by UV exposure — all while offering a pleasant, comfortable application experience.

With collaboration from dermatologists and formulation experts, we expanded our philosophy to include clinically proven biocompatible actives like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, carefully selected for their targeted effectiveness, not trends.
